Does anyone have any restaurant owning experience?
A friend of mine came today to me with a serious proposition of wanting to open up a pizza shop.

He said that he knows someone that owns one and gross 400k a year.
He said extra large pizza cost them .92 cents to make.

Got me thinking and I am really thinking about looking into this..
Anyone have any experience??

Thanks

just so happens, i have owned a successful convenience store for 11 yrs now....... we have sold pizzas for 9 of those, out of the store.......

we sell,,,,,,,,, Hunt Brothers Pizza, out of the store,,, you will see them from Oklahoma to Tenn and alot of states in between.......... Wed of last week, they opened their 6000th store...........

they are pizza shops within a convenience store........... been making and selling them for 9yrs now....

you cannot make a large pizza for .92 cents..... dont know how much more but that price is not accurate....

we only sell a 12 inch pizza, which you know, as a medium........ we have close to $5 in each pizza........... little more for loaded ones, little less for one toppings or cheese pizzas......... we only sell from 150-200 per week but like i said, its just an add on for my business.........

the crusts come premade with cheese and sauce, we add the extra cheese and toppings..........

yours would be made from scratch but and will be cheaper but more time consuming to make, no way you make one for .92 cents......... you will need to count overhead (labor/electric)......... and dont get me started about employees.....
